83-Year-Old Former Model Looks Gorgeous With New Makeover

Jackie, an 83-year-old former model from Columbus, Ohio received a makeover from Christopher Hopkins aka The Makeover Guy.

According to her, it seemed like she was growing “invisible” as she grew older. Many people often give in to nature's forces and let things be as they are, but Jackie was not ready to let go of her younger stunning look. Deciding to look more visible, she decided to seek the services of The Makeover Guy’s salon located in Minneapolis, in a bid to be turned back to the beautiful woman she was. Her decision was not hard to make due to The Makeover Guy's positive reputation.

The elderly lady explained how she had been through tough times, like her divorce from a marriage of 56 years. Despite the separation, she had taken care of her former husband, as he fought the medical condition Alzheimer’s.

Jackie also had a turbulent duration of financial strain, and for a whole year, her relationship with one of her sons and grandchildren was very shaky. She, therefore, decided to add some happiness in her life. At her interview, she had this to say, “I’m just here to self-indulge and have a freshening up.”

Her modeling career had been successful and lengthy, where she was both a model and a modeling agent. During those years, getting noticed was part of her life, which changed drastically as her age advanced.

Jackie commented, “I’ve become invisible and I don’t particularly like that feeling. I think I’m moderately attractive and I’d like to freshen up and be noticed again.” She went on during the interview.

Her elderly age had never put off the youthful flame in her, a notable attribute to most clients who visit The Makeover Guy. Although her wish was to look young and get her glow back, Jackie wanted to be moderate about it.

“I don’t want to see an old woman who’s trying to look like a 25-year-old. I feel 35 inside, but I don’t want to overdo it, I want age-appropriate but attractive.” Going through The Makeover Guy’s videos, it is easy to notice his exceptional beauty and talent for makeover art.

Through the years, Christopher has been a blessing to many people with his excellent styling work. He is also an entertainer, business person, and an internet celebrity in addition to running his makeover salon. He is also an author, having written the book “Staging Your Comeback, A Complete Beauty Revival for Women.”

Christopher was solely responsible for getting Jackie’s confidence back. Harvard Health Publishing notes the inevitability of low levels of confidence in the advancement of age. As we grow older, our body undergoes a lot of change, often triggered by factors such as low immunity levels and loss on income due to retirement.
