Cute little 8-year-old Cameron Scott defied the odds by beating a rare cancer, proving that there is always hope no matter how dire the odds. After being diagnosed with medulloblastoma, Cameron's parents vowed to not give up the fight against the high-risk, stage four cancer.

Tamika and Wendell Scott were concerned after Cameron took a fall down the stairs and then began complaining about back pain. They soon learned that a tumor had started at the stem of his brain and then traveled down his spine to take root in his body.

Despite the dire diagnosis, Wendall knew they would continue to fight hard for Cameron's life. The little boy spent nearly a year at the famous St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. The decision proved to save his life.

The amazing medical team at St. Jude's was able to isolate Cameron's specific type of cancer and create a personalized plan for his treatment.

As the youngest of six children, the cancer news turned the entire household on its heels as everyone dropped everything to make Cameron's fight the priority.
