Zoe Figueroa, an 8-year-old, has beaten cancer! Not so long ago, February 2018, the then 7-year-old Zoe was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma.

During an interview with Inside Edition, Zoe's mom Sheena revealed that the likelihood of her daughter succumbing to her illness was about 50%. However, thanks to some very skilled physicians and extensive cancer treatments, this remarkable little girl finished her treatment just in time for her 8th birthday.

Many people spend a lifetime trying to achieve stardom. They long to see their "name in lights" and they live for the day when they can receive their star on Hollywood's "Walk of Fame." However, seldom do those people ever learn the formula for achieving true stardom.

What if being a "star" was determined by something other than the size of your bank account or one's level of popularity?

What if being a "star" was more about the size of your heart? If that were indeed the formula for stardom, then little Zoe Figueroa is most definitely a superstar!

Just recently, little Zoe celebrated her 8th birthday in grand fashion!

Zoe's mom recalls, “When we started in this, we weren’t sure if she would make it or she wouldn’t.”

So, after being pronounced cancer-free shortly before her eighth birthday, she and her family celebrated with a huge party and invited about 250 guests. They all showered her with lots of love and plenty of presents.

Undoubtedly, this little hero was quite deserving of all that she received. However, what happened next has earned her superstardom!

Zoe decided, of her own accord, that she wanted to spread a little cheer to those kids who are still in the hospital, fighting for their lives.

So, she donated all of her birthday presents to the friends she left behind. While she and her family celebrated her victory, many little heroes are still fighting. She sacrificed her presents because she felt that those other children probably needed them more than she did.

She's truly earned her stardom because of the bigness of her heart. What do you think? Tell us how you feel about this little girl and her incredibly generous act.
