The judges on the television show "The Voice Kids" are known for their ability to pick up on talent very quickly, and sometimes their responses are very memorable.

An episode of the show in the Philippines was a prime example.

Little Nathan Bautista, at the age of eight, caused the judges to respond in unison within seconds after the opening lyrics of the iconic rock song "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey as reported here at ABS CBN News. His performance had a huge worldwide reaction, and the upload of the televised performance has been viewed over 17 million times online.

Nathan had his audition for the TV show at the age of eight, but he began singing years before.

He developed a love for singing at a very young age. He began showing talent as a baby when he was able to easily learn the words of the songs being sung in church. His father being a musician gave the boy a good atmosphere to develop his interests in singing. His father's love of rock music rubbed off on his son.

Many kids around the world hope to appear on television talent shows. These vehicles allow unknown people to get in front of big industry players and possibly shoot to stardom overnight.

Nathan took full advantage of his moment in front of the famous judges, and he demonstrated that he was born to be a performer.

Everyone at the performance immediately became interested when the opening notes of the song started. They were amazed that a little boy could tackle such a difficult and big rock ballad.

The judges knew after the first few words of the song that the boy had it in him to do this tough song justice, and they were extremely impressed. All three judges hit their red buttons simultaneously. The boy had made it through to the next round after singing only five words.

The eight-year-old had a big voice, and it was perfect for the powerful rock ballad that few people could belt out with sufficient force. The child made the feat seem effortless, and the venue began to feel like a true rock concert.

The song originally released in 1981, then it made a return in 2007 when it was featured in an episode of the HBO hit "The Sopranos."

The judges enjoyed the performance, and they cheered and danced along to the song in their seats. At the end of the performance, singer Lea Salonga got out of her seat and gave the boy a big hug. The is a far greater reaction than one could ever hope for at an audition.

The boy's performance on the Philippines show has been called one of the best to ever occur on the program.
