The show "7th Heaven" was a family drama series that centered around the Camden family in the fictional town of Glenoak, California. Debuting back in August 1996, the series aired for 11 seasons and was a great launching pad for a list of successful stars. Receiving rave reviews and having an astonishing amount of viewers during its run, "7th Heaven" was highly successful and was known as being a great family-friendly show with a squeaky-clean image.

One of the main stars to come from the show was Jessica Biel, who played the role of Mary Camden in the first six seasons of the series as a main cast member. Biel's role had gotten a bit smaller in the seventh season, as Mary was only a recurring character during this time. Biel also reprised her role in later seasons as a special guest star. There had been some issues behind the scenes with Biel's behavior, resulting in her appearing on the show less and less. Luckily, Biel has been able to bounce back since then.

Since achieving recognition during her time on "7th Heaven," Biel has branched out and shifted her focus to mostly film acting and has starred in a long list of movies, as well as a handful of TV shows. She is also famously married to singer Justin Timberlake, and the couple has two sons together. After starring in a handful of blockbuster films, Biel once again changed the trajectory of her career and has continued to follow her passions in every career avenue she takes.

Played by BielMary Camden was the eldest daughter of Eric and Annie on the TV series "7th Heaven." By the time she turned 15, Mary was an aspiring athlete with a passion for basketball and became more confident the more she worked on developing her skills in the sport. Unfortunately, her dreams were crushed after getting hit by a car during her freshman year of high school, leaving her with an injured knee, but she continued to play basketball. Mary struggled to keep a job after deciding not to go to college and struggled to get a grip on her life. Her love life was also extremely complicated as she went through a series of different boyfriends.

Despite being such a critical figure on the show, Biel did not stay on for all 11 seasons. In fact, she was only a main cast member for the first six seasons before getting less work on the series as the show progressed. Biel herself was a bit rebellious, which was not exactly a great image for the squeaky-clean program.

After expressing potentially wanting to leave the show, Biel posed nearly nude in a magazine, according to Deseret. "That was such a big mistake. I made a horrible, horrible choice," Biel said in an interview with Deseret in February 2001. Realizing she had messed up, Biel was later able to return to "7th Heaven" for a handful of episodes and made sure to thank the writers and producers for all they had done for her career. She said, "I give '7th Heaven' — the writers and everybody — all the credit. They gave me that chance. They did everything, and I totally appreciate that."
