Many people desire to be married, but not all relationships are likely to get them where they want to be. These are seven relationship types that will probably never end in marriage. Most people get into relationships with the intention of taking them all the way. By "all the way," we mean all the way down the aisle at the wedding. However, some types of relationships will most likely never make it to marriage. If you're in one, you need to recognize it and act accordingly.

The following are seven types of relationships that do not lead to marriage.

 1. Casual Flings

Casual flings are relationships that are most likely not going to end in marriage. The reason is that at least one of these individuals will probably see little to no reason to commit if they're already getting "the milk" for free. Unfortunately, it's hard to change this type of arrangement if you've already gotten into it, or if you've been tricked into it. The most effectvive thing you can do is make a better decision next time.

2. Stormy Relationships

Stormy relationships are the ones that are always up and down and never seem to have any balance. Someone is always arguing or doing something unspeakable to the party. They might seem "exciting" in the beginning, but these types of relationships usually do not go very far. The reason? Deep down inside, everybody wants peace.

3. Rebound Relationships

Rebound relationships usually do not end in marriage. They are often failed attempts by one person or two people to bandage up a wound that only time can heal. They are failed attempts for people to force themselves to move on before they're ready and try to forget their ex. Many rebound relationships end up splitting up in a very short period.

4. Codependent Relationships

Co-dependent relationships are often turbulent and tumultuous. Not only that, but they often have a strong element of abuse involved in them. These types of relationships don't end in marriage all the time, and that's probably a good thing.

5. Needy Relationships

Needy and desperate relationships are situations that people get into to avoid being alone. They usually don't work out because the two people aren't even compatible with each other. They just need something, anything, that resembles a relationship, or at least they think they need it. These relationships are often short-lived and end when one of the partners runs into somebody with whom they are truly compatible.

6. Planless Relationships

A planless relationship will never automatically navigate to marriage. Two people need to know each other's intentions before they even start a relationship. Some element of planning has to go on for it to go anywhere. If people talked to each other before they got in too deep, many of them would find out that they didn't share the same intentions.

7. Wild Relationships

Wild relationships are those relationships that are just all over the place. The couple might be friends one day and lovers the next day. They might be enemies on Tuesday and soul mates on Thursday. These confusing relationships usually don't end in marriage.

If you discover that you're in one of these relationships, but you want marriage, you may need to get out. Your situation is most likely a dead end one, and it either needs a serious overhaul, or it needs a termination. Make sure that you review all of these seven relationship types and give the list to everyone that you know.
