66-Year-Old Feels 25 After Her Makeover With Artist Christopher Hopkins

Who says that you're too old for a fresh start? You can be thirty, forty, or fifty years old and still have plenty of time to start fresh and enjoy the rest of your life. And as you're about to see, this sixty-six-year-old woman decided that it was time for a change. She was tired of her old look and hairstyle. Sure, she could go to the salon, but why not treat herself to a high-quality makeover from a professional? That's where the Makeover Guy comes in.

The video introduces us to Ava from Chicago. If you've watched the Makeover Guy's videos before, you know that some of his clients are a little anxious before they begin. Ava's different. Many of the Makeover Guy's clients reminisce about their high school years. But again, Ava is a little different. She tells us that her best years were in her fifties, maybe even in her sixties. This is a woman who clearly knows how to age gracefully. "I'll take every year I can get," she says. Can you imagine a more positive outlook on life?

Ava seems to be calm and optimistic about the future but ready for a change. She laughs when she thinks about her twenties and how long ago that was. The Makeover Guy might not be able to make her look like she's in her twenties, but we're confident that he can take her back to her thirties or forties. With a woman as wise and cheerful as Ava, it shouldn't be that difficult.

If you didn't know who Ava was after seeing her makeover, you'd think she was a movie or TV star. Her new makeover strongly resembles Lucille Ball. The Makeover Guy dyed her hair red and cut it to a short, curly hairstyle that rests on the top of her head. The powder and foundation he used to make her look at least twenty years younger. To highlight her eyes, he used black eyeshadow and a touch of mascara. And if that weren't enough, he accentuated her look with a nice blouse and a few pieces of jewelry.
Ava is blown away by her new look. "I feel fabulous!" she eagerly tells the camera. "I feel alive, I feel young, I feel beautiful!" Who could ask for anything more?

When they give her a hand mirror, Ava still can't believe how stunning she looks. "Oh my gosh," she says. "I'm cute!" She admits that she didn't think that the Makeover Guy could make her look so incredible. But as she puts it, the entire makeover has been "a dream." 

The Makeover Guy gave her the Hollywood-style makeover that most women only fantasize about. She looks better than she could have ever imagined, and we're thrilled that the Makeover Guy was here to make it possible.
