61-Year-Old Michelle Pfeiffer Proves Vegan Diet Is What Keeps Her Looking Young In Makeup-Free Selfie

Michelle Pfeiffer went on natural for an social media selfie in honor of thanksgiving. The 61-year-old actress modeled a bare face while writing how she was excited to see her family for thanksgiving. Fans alike were eager to comment on Pfeiffer's exceptional aging. 

In addition to looking forward to seeing her family for turkey day, Michelle also said how she will be missing her "Montreal family." The stunner has been filming a drama in Canada called "French Exit," in which Pfeiffer plays a widowed Manhattan socialite who moves to Paris according to Variety

Pfeiffer has starred in a number of significant films like "Scarface"(1983), "The Age of Innocence"(1993), "Hairspray"(2007). Her performances in “The Fabulous Baker Boys,”(1989) “Love Field”(1982) and “Dangerous Liaisons”(1988) earned her Academy Award nominations.

Michelle credits her youthful glow with her vegan lifestyle. The starlet told Urbanette Magazine, "Eating a vegan diet — it’s just so much healthier — and you avoid a lot of toxins that could age your skin and your body. I really noticed a difference in my skin not too long after switching to fully vegan." She believes eating fruits and vegetables are what has helped her to stay lean. 

"The older I’ve gotten, the more it’s occurred to me that I’m doing it in order to live longer, though the vanity component will always be there," she said.
