We could all use some feel-good news these days, and this story is one of those! Judith Flanigan is a 60-year-old living in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. She has four grown children and seven grandchildren. She is currently living her best life, but it wasn't always so.

Be sure to reach the end of this article to see the full video :-)

At just 16 years old, Judith and three friends were involved in a horrific car accident. All four passengers, including Judith, died. She recalled seeing a bright light that she was floating toward. At some point, a voice told her it wasn't her time and she came back. The ambulance team confirmed that they had, in fact, lost Judith on the way to the hospital, but that they were able to revive her. Her friends had not been so lucky.

Later in life, Judith was married for a total of 25 years. The downfall came after her husband was injured in an accident and suffered excruciating back pain. Doctors prescribed him with Vicodin, oxycontin, and other opioids to help with the pain.

Unfortunately, as many do, Judith's husband became addicted to his medication. He refused to quit or to get help. After Judith realized she could do nothing more to help, she divorced him to start life anew.

It was then that she relocated to Wisconsin. She began working her dream job as a counselor at a homeless shelter. She offered life-coaching advice and assisted those with drug, alcohol, or mental problems. It seems Judith's past only groomed her to do good in her future.

Enter the Makeover Guy

If anyone was due for a little tender loving care, it's Judith. She was fortunate enough to score a coveted makeover by the famous Christopher Hopkins, a.k.a. the Makeover Guy.

Along with being the best-selling author of Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45, Christopher is renowned for his amazing makeover work. His studio, MAKEOVERGUY Appearance Studio is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Before meeting with Christopher, Judith was asked what her biggest fears were in relation to the makeover. She admitted that she didn't like the idea of very short hair, because she felt like she had a heavy face.

Judith also admitted that she had been wearing her hair in its current style for 20-30 years. I mean, that's a lifetime with the same hairstyle. She said she was open to just about anything, and if Christopher was doing it, it would be great! She had no idea how true those words were!

A New Judith

Wowza, Judith! Who knew this hot grandma was hiding in there! She loves her new look as it makes her feel younger — or how she used to look. She also notes that her new style is much more relatable to her "crazy" side.

Well, we think she looks amazing. Even the camera guys seem to make Judith blush toward the end of the interview. It all begins when she's asked if she thinks she looks sexy. Then, the jokes begin and you can tell that Judith does, in fact, have a slightly crazy side! It will crack you up!
