6-Year-Old Boy Bit By 2 Venomous Snakes 8 Days Apart. Little Boy Prays To God To Save Him

A six-year-old from Australia is one lucky boy.

As told by Yahoo Australia, Joel Canning survived not one, but two, venomous snake attacks and lived to tell about his experience. The young boy was playing outside at his home in Wongan Hills, Australia when a western brown snake dug its fangs into Canning.

Although the serpent is not considered to be extremely aggressive, its venom often delivers a fatal blow to its victims.

Even at a young age, Joel knew that the bite meant trouble. He immediately ran outside, chanting to himself that he was not going to die. Joel's mother, Pippa Canning, described the ordeal to Yahoo news, saying:

“(He) asked me, ‘if you get bitten by a venomous snake in Australia – do you go to heaven?’ “And I said ‘yes’ and then he went down.”

“Somehow I got the strength to pick him up (and) walk through the house with him while he was convulsing,” she continued. “His eyes were rolling back. He was hissing and I knew he wasn’t getting enough oxygen.

“So, every third step I stopped and did rescue breaths before being able to get him in the back seat of the car.”

Thankfully, she got to the local hospital in time and Joel was transferred to Perth for emergency treatment.

After recovering from the attack, poor Joel was bit again only eight days later by another western brown snake in the same area. Joel said that he knew he would survive because he prayed to God to pull him out of it once again.

Although he survived both attacks, Joel now understandably struggles with panic attacks and anxiety. You can check out his amazing story of survival by watching this video.
