56-Year-Old Widow Gets Makeover And Appears Thirty Years Younger

Allison is from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and in the past year lost both her husband and her job. This prompted her to reach out to Christopher Hopkins AKA The Makeover Guy, as she felt ready for a change. As always he delivered, but Allison has a little secret of her own for looking as young as she feels.

Christopher explains that while trying to decide how to make Allison over, he was "perplexed as to why Allison did not need much of a length or color change." Allison said her biggest fear was to get a pixie cut, but those around her were convinced Christopher would cut all of her gorgeous hair off and probably dye it blonde or red. She seemed surprised he didn't and is sure her friends will be too.

But Allison's look only needed freshening up—a richer light brown hair color and reshaping of her already stunning mane of hair. Speaking of the makeup, Allison said it "turned out great, and it's less is more," which she really likes. She and Christopher also joked about both being fans of big hair.
Saying earlier that she feels like she's 35, even though she's 56; after the makeover, Allison says "Now, I feel like the outside reflects how I feel on the inside." You can't receive better feedback than that.
But her "secret" no doubt helps with all of that—openly discussing with the team, Allison reveals that she's had a facelift. Christopher says he had no idea but usually he can tell and that it's "beautiful work." Asking her if she's embarrassed telling people, Allison says "No, not at all."
Christopher explains he is often asked when a woman should cut her hair shorter, to which he gives a few tips but explains that he didn't have to with Allison, thanks to her "secret," adding that she looks 27—a whole three decades younger than she really is!
