5-Year-Old Creates ‘Blessing Bags’ Full Of Supplies To Give To The Homeless

You're never too young to make a difference in someone's life. A 5-year-old named Tynslee Blue Bennett is setting an inspiring example for all of us. The little girl from Alabama was accustomed to seeing the occasional homeless person in her town.
Tynslee's mom, Haley, tried her best to explain why some people are sleeping outside on the street, and her daughter decided that she wanted to help.
Tynslee offered to give her allowance to her parents to help buy items for people in their local homeless community. In their town, access to programs are limited, so the Bennett family felt like it was their duty to step in and make a difference in any way they can.

With her mom's help, Tynslee, her sister, and cousin create and deliver "blessings bags" that included food, clothes, napkins, toiletries, books and anything else the children can think of.
Most of the recipients are stunned as the last thing they expect is for a little girl to appear like a guardian angel and hand them a bag of things they so desperately need.
When asked why she wants to help the homeless, Tynslee gave a humbling answer to Inside Edition: "Cause they don't have nobody to do it for them."
Adults often avoid going out of their way to help the homeless, convinced that any money will be used to buy drugs or won't make much of a difference. While it's true that some homeless people struggle with addiction, they still deserve the same level of comfort and respect as any other person.
