Appendicitis is a severe and dangerous condition, so you need to know if you may have it. It's a condition that can progress quickly, so you need an action plan, as well. The following five signs show that you probably do have appendicitis, and you need to see a physician urgently if you think you do.  You've probably heard of someone at some point in your life who had appendicitis. It can be a life-threatening condition if you don't act fast when you recognize the symptoms. The condition can have various causes. Some of the most common are fungal infections, measles, shingles and salmonella bacteria that spread to the appendix and inflame it.

The good part is that the symptoms are distinct. Some symptoms are almost exclusive to the condition. These are top things that can happen to your body if you experience a problem with your appendix. You must act quickly if you are having such issues.

1. You Have a Shaky Fever

One of the most prevalent signs you have appendicitis is a fierce fever. It may not be fierce in temperature, but its symptoms can wreak havoc on your body. Appendicitis fevers usually start as low-grade fevers. They are usually something like 101 degrees, but they bring flulike symptoms that cause devastation. Consider that you may have appendicitis if you're experiencing chills and a fever, and you are experiencing some other symptoms.

2. Excruciating Side Pain

The side pain usually alerts people that they may have appendicitis. The pain comes from the inflamed abdominal wall. It usually hurts the sufferer immensely, and it occurs on the right side from the belly button to the side. Some people have described the painful feeling as similar to being stabbed with a knife. Others have described as a burning sensation. If you're experiencing pain so bad that you can't walk around, or you find yourself stuck doubled over, then you must ask someone for help. You need to get to the hospital as quickly as possible.

3. Nausea and Loss of Appetite

You could bleed internally from appendicitis, and your inside could just be severely inflamed. Either issue will cause you to have pain. You may also be disinterested in eating any food. In the worst case of appendicitis, you may feel the urge to vomit, and you might do so. Your whole GI tract is upset right now, which is why you are experiencing such pain. The best thing to do is to have someone escort you to the hospital.

4. Massive Confusion

The pain that you're going through may cause you to have confusion in your brain. Aside from that, you may have a problem thinking because of your body not getting as much oxygen as it should. You may forget things and have a generally foggy feeling when you try to think.

5. Frequent Urination
