4-Year-Old Girl Throws Father's Mobile Phone Into The Ocean Because He Didn't Want To Play With Her

While parents often buy their kids fancy toys, clothing or electronics, what kids want the most is some attention. A child is often more pleased by a parent playing hide-and-seek or reading a story to them than by the latest gadget. Kids want to feel loved, and there is no better way to express this than through focused attention from a parent.

Parents are often glued to their smartphones. From texting to browsing social media and making or receiving calls to looking at shopping sites, it is easy to get lost in your phone. Parents often ignore their kids because the phone is right there, in their hands. It is common to see parents staring at their phones during a child's sports game or even at home when the child is near them.

A Russian rap star took his four year old daughter out on a sail on the ocean. She just wanted to play with her dad, but his phone kept ringing. She got louder as he carried on with his conversation. This only frustrated the child.

All the child wanted was her father's attention. Physically he was nearby, but he was not actually engaged with the child. She wanted her father's focused attention, which should not be too much to ask.

Frustrated, the little girl took her dad's phone away. She leaned over the rails of the yacht and tossed the phone into the ocean. The dad just watched as he saw his phone sink underneath the water. Apparently, someone else had a phone and took a video of the entire interaction between the girl and her dad.

The dad just stood and watched his phone sink. By then, he seemed to have gotten his daughter's point. Hopefully, he will focus his attention on her the next time and keep his phone on mute for a while.
