A four-year-old Italian boy is living life to the fullest with a new bionic arm. Doctors in Palestrina, Italy were able to outfit Guilio with this prosthetic bionic arm, making life much easier for the sweet boy.

Guilio's parents told Caters News how they were shocked when their son was born with an undeveloped arm. The arm ended just below the elbow and had not been detected on ultrasound when Guilio was still in the womb.

“When these things happen you either let them get to you and live unhappily, or you stand up and fight and life becomes even more beautiful than before,” she told Caters News.

Guilio's mother, Sameula, said that they were saddened when Guilio was born without part of an arm. But they were determined to make his life a happy and productive one despite the limitations.

Guilio's older brother, Leonardo, gave Samuela and her husband the courage to keep fighting for a normal life for Guilio.

Although Guilio had been wearing a prosthetic arm since he was just a few months old, it was not practical and was only attached for aesthetic purposes.

This all changed when doctors were able to equip Guilio with a bionic arm that is controlled by electrical signals.

Leonardo is so impressed with the arm and its abilities that he even gave it the special nickname of Energy. The name was picked up from a cartoon show and perfectly exemplifies the special gift that it provides to Guilio.

You can't help but smile when you watch this amazing boy work his incredible bionic arm. After you have watched Giulio and his special arm, be sure to spread his inspirational story to all of your friends and family!
