4 Men Form Circle, Give Everyone Goosebumps With Their Performance Of A Christmas Classic

Dec 17, 2018 by apost team

Have you ever been asked to think of a popular Christmas song? If you have, we bet that “Joy to the World” is one that comes to your mind. This Christmas carol has been around since 1719 and is sure to be here for many more years to come.

Yes, the song is a pretty old one for sure. However, dozens of artists over the years have put out their own version of the song. When they do, most artists try to find a way to make the old classic more modern and upbeat.

They want to add their own personal spin to it in order to make it more memorable to a new audience. Anthem Lights, however, decided that their version of the song was going to be a bit more soulful than others.

When the video begins, you see four men sitting down together, facing one another. While we are used to seeing bright lights and flashy clothes in other videos, this one is a lot less dramatic.

There are Christmas lights on the floor that contrast nicely with their all-black outfits. The spotlights used in the back also add some drama and depth to their performance.

The first few lines of this classic are sung by Calen Grimm. His vocals are truly impressive to listen to. It is difficult to not sing along with him.

Their harmonies and the blending of their voices are just as impressive. Even though all four of the men can sing very well, it does not sound as if they are trying to overpower one another. They harmonize perfectly together, even when the high notes come out.

Anthem Lights is a Christian rock band whose members are originally from Nashville, Tennessee. They formed their group in 2008 and were previously known as Yellow Cavalier. After getting a deal with Reunion Records, they changed their name, as well as some of the members.

The vocalists that we hear in this particular cover are Jory Stamper, Spencer Kane, Chad Graham, and Caleb Grimm.
