Having grandparents there to share your wedding day is extra special. Many brides and grooms don't have that chance. However, one happy couple, Tanner and Lyndsey, were lucky enough to have at least four. And they were available to act as flower girls on the big day.

Tanner and Lyndsey planned their wedding for September 2019. They wanted to include their grandparents on this special day. They had been to many weddings where no grandparents had attended at all.

Between them, they had at least four grandparents.

While looking through bridal ideas the bride saw how another pair had included the bride's grandparents on her wedding day. It was the perfect inspiration for Lyndsey.

She asked four very lovely ladies if they would like to be part of her bridal party. Their role would be as flower girls. They were stunned, but they all said yes.

Lyndsey's flower girls included Joyce, Tanner's 70-year-old paternal grandmother; Betty, Lyndsey's 72-year-old maternal grandmother; Wanda, her 76-year-old paternal grandmother; and Kathleen, her 90-year-old maternal great-grandmother.

The wedding photographer was able to capture the special moment when the ladies started walking down the aisle in matching blue dresses. They tossed their flowers and headed down the aisle. Everyone was totally delighted with their performance, including the bride and groom. It's definitely a special moment that everyone will remember for a very long time.
