2 Roommates Wake Up To See Their 120-Pound Mastiff Laying On Top Of A ‘Faceless’ Stranger

When Lynn Sarvar and her roomate dozed off on New Year's Eve, they never expected what they'd find the next morning. Sarvar's alarm blasted at 5:15 am. She expected the first day of the new year to be just like any other, but she was shocked to find her 150-pound Mastiff, Benton, sitting on top of a total stranger.

Benton weighs more than some people, and the enormous canine even has his own twin mattress to sleep on. When Lynn woke up and glanced at the dog's bed, she was shocked to find him lying on top of a complete stranger who was fast asleep on the mattress. After all the New Year's Eve festivities, the man, who actually lives two houses down, slipped in through an unlocked sliding door. He passed out Benton's bed, but that didn't stop the dog from crawling on top of him and settling into his proper place.

At first, Sarvar thought that the figure was her son, but once she got closer, she realized it was a stranger. His shoes, wallet and glasses were scattered on the floor. Sarvar and her roommate were both too afraid to wake the slumbering intruder, so they rushed to the kitchen and grabbed a knife before dialing 911. Police responded immediately and woke up the man, who explained the situation. Sarvar and her roomate declined to press charges.
