Your neighborhood may be one of many that come together to create stunning displays. Lights glitter and sparkle from each yard along the road. People hang their pretty lights along their foliage and driveways. As decorations become more popular, stores are offering more variety. Some are made to come with moving parts and music now. During the holidays, you're likely to hear a Christmas song or come upon a light display. Hopefully, you can get both in one trip!

In fact, the Bluegrass Island Festival recently posted one to their page on Facebook. It's known as the Dueling Banjos. Many homes have featured light and music displays that showcase this song. It was made popular by the classic film Deliverance. However, the original was known as Feudin' Banjos. It was recorded in 1955 by Don Reno and Arthur Smith. Eric Weissberg came up with this newer version in 1972, but it lives on today more than ever.

This year, Bluegrass Island's light display set to Dueling Banjos took the internet by storm. It's not the kind of Christmas music that you would imagine, but it put us in a cheery mood anyway! The spectacle starts with a guitar and banjo in lights. They seem to be playing to the rhythm of the song. The patterns of light begin to change as the song continues. Parts of the home and yard are illuminated throughout the song.

The lights twinkle in tempo with the song. It's an amazing show. Check it out for yourself! Did you find this interesting? Let us know! Don't forget to spread the holiday cheer to your friends too.
