19-Month-Old Drowns In Pool, 5 Days Later Pregnant Mom Sees Her Face In Son’s Ultrasound

Earlier this year in June, tragedy struck Olympic skier Bode Miller and wife Morgan when they lost their daughter, 19-month-old Emmy. She had accidentally fallen into a neighbor's pool and drowned.

When Emmy died, Morgan was pregnant with her and Bode's newest child -- a baby boy.

It was five days after this terrible event when Morgan reluctantly went to the doctor to get a prenatal checkup on their second child. Morgan described her experience on Instagram where she explained that stepping into a future without her baby girl was like "a dagger to my heart."

While the tech was performing the ultrasound he offered to take a 3-D image of her unborn son. Despite Morgan telling him not to, the technician took a picture anyway, as he wanted to get to take advantage of the perfect shot he was getting of her baby.

Morgan looked at the image, but what she didn't expect to see was something that gave her chills. There in the picture was what she described as the "angel" of the baby's late sister in the womb with him.

On Instagram she continued to write about how the baby resembled her other babies. The boy looked just like Bode with his full lips and his "sweet nose." However, she moved her eyes to the "angel lying to the right of his face."

The image showed what looked to Morgan like an appearance of Emmy lying next to the baby boy and holding him. She writes that her arms were around the baby's neck, as if she were telling him "It's okay, I'm here."

Bode and Morgan Miller's baby was born as a healthy young boy on October 5 of this year. Hopefully the spirit of his late sister will remain with him through life as she had in their mother's womb, if the video is any indication.

Be sure to watch the ultrasound clip below, and feel free to spread the word to everyone you know so that they can decide if the Miller's baby boy is being coddled by his late sister. Also don't forget to let us know what you think in the comments!
