Every performer strives to stand out from the other competitors in a way that is unique and eye-catching. Back in 2013, the then 18-year-old Fik-Shun Stegall was a contestant on the notable American dance television series, So You Think You Can Dance. He was willing to do what it takes to prove to the judges that he is a brilliant dancer by capturing both of those qualities.

And it’s no fiction that this young man set himself apart from the competition with his seamless robot dance moves! According to World Of Dance, he was an amateur street performer looking for recognition and now he’s got it from his one-of-kind robot dance unlike any other routine seen before.

It’s clear that Stegall invested much practice and self-expertise over time for this astounding performance. From his experience street performing with on the streets of Las Vegas, he entertains the audience with his slick moves that seem to match well to the beat of the instrumental piece in the background of his choreography.

There are times his moves were also silly, but they were mostly downright eye-catching. The judges laughed one moment when he shook his behind at them. Their mouths gaped another moment when Stegall was able to perform a whole split and using his toes to twist around in a full 360-degree motion. He was also able to move his chest without moving his head to not only stun the judges but also disturb and amaze audience members.

He “beep, bopped, beeped” all the way to viral fandom, graduating from a street performer to a viral sensation! Watch the way Fik-Shun Stegall seemed to defy gravity in his robot dance routine by watching the video below. Warning: video viewers may be just as much amazed as the judges and the audience!
