He was nothing but a sixteen-year-old kid when he got up on stage and opened his mouth to begin singing the famous Elvis song "Blue Christmas" in front of millions of people. In spite of his young age, David Thibault had everyone wondering if he was Elvis in disguise!

While it’s been six years since David awed the world on "The Ellen Show," it only seems appropriate to resurrect the old video and keep up with what this fantastic star is doing now.

David began his singing career when he started developing a keen interest in Elvis after listening to his grandfather’s favorite tunes. David discovered that he not only liked Elvis music, but he could also sing just like he was the King himself!

While David was impressing everyone who heard him, his fan-base was small until he made a video performing Elvis’ “Blue Christmas”. The song was uploaded onto a local radio station’s YouTube channel and it became an instant hit!

Within only a week, almost 5 million people had watched the clip and everyone was going insane about the teenager.

It wasn’t long before Ellen Degeneres had the teenager on her show and let him sing so that everyone across the globe could hear him. The result was stunning. Sure enough, David could sing and sound just like the old musical star.

After being on Ellen’s show, David went on to be a contestant on the French version of “The Voice” where he came in second place and then went on tour with the show.

While it’s now been years since sixteen-year-old David took to the Ellen show, his sound is just as spectacular today. In honor of the Christmas season and Elvis’ famous song, we invite you to watch the clip of David singing “Blue Christmas” on The Ellen Show.
