16 Skaters Impress At Figure Skating Championship With Wonderfully Complex Routine

Team Suprise originated in the 1980s and is the most successful in the figure skating community. The choreography of their figure skating combined with their unique choice of classical music in the background makes for a distinctive and lovely performance. Based in Sweden, the team has been successful in the sport for 35 years now. This routine shows their expert routine from the World Championships in 2012.

The sport takes constant practice of coordination and physical strength to correctly complete the twirls, leg movements, and twists and turns required to professionally make the audience awe inspired.

Each of the skaters stepped onto the ice wearing a black outfit accented with a color of their choice. All of them wore long sleeve black tops with frilly black skirts for elegance. However, accent colors included red, orange, purple, blue, orange, pink, and blue as if they were a rainbow out on the ice.

Before Team Surprise could even get started, the applause just got louder and louder as they continued to get into formation. Team Surprise’s choreography was superb and dynamic, The large quantity in the team not detracting from how each figure skater was able to stand out during the routine.

Team Surprise wowed the audience with their transition from one formation to the other. Their transitions were on time and synchronized to the beat of the background music. The graceful lives in mid-air splits captivated everybody present. They really do put the “surprise” into what comes with any figure skating routine.

The team barely paused throughout the routine. These women had so much energy when completing this exhausting yet rewarding ice skating dance.

The dedication, diligence, and practice it takes to learn ice-skating is definitely an arm and a leg of one’s time. One must achieve harmony and synchronicity to be able to complete a rigorous and graceful skating routine. In the end, it may seem like a lot of work, but the roaring cheers of the audience makes the constant practice all worth it.
