It can be sad to see how world leaders are still interested in building walls and keeping people separate, but there are also some signs that people are learning to embrace a more enlightened and positive attitude toward each other.

A glimmer of hope came in the form of a special event that took place on November 9 during the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall.

The festival featured a giant piece of colorful motion art that was entitled "Visions in Motion." It consisted of 120,000 fabric ribbons that were suspended in mid air according to their website. The exhibit was displayed in Berlin at the front of the Brandenburg gate. The spectacle was larger than life and breathtaking to behold. The art piece was the highlight of the festival, and it was created by Patrick Shearn and the Poetic Kinetics team.

The art creation team is based in Los Angeles, and they have a history of creating large-scale art displays like the one in Berlin. The Kulturprojekte of Berlin contacted the Los Angeles team to collaborate on a large-scale project for the 30th-anniversary celebration.

The idea for the project was to convey a sense of movement and of people coming together. Each ribbon displayed a message of hope, greeting and unity. Messages were written by Germans and also by people from all over the world. The overall size of the exhibit was extraordinary, consisting of 9,500 feet of rope and 1,250 knots that were tied by hand. That is a lot of manual labor.

A video clip was uploaded to Instagram that shows people decorating ribbons for the giant exhibit. People of all ages participated in creating the magnificent display. The colors of the ribbons varied from pink, blue, purple and yellow. Each person wrote a personal note on their ribbon that made each one unique.

The giant colorful structure moved in ripples and waves when it caught the wind. The visual spectacle would force people to stare in awe at the magnificence of its size and brilliance.

The celebration took place during the Berlin Festival Week that began on November 4th and lasted until the 10th of the month. Some of the other events of the festival featured other exhibitions for local people and other supporters that took place at various locations in the Berlin area. Overall, the 30th-anniversary celebration did an admirable job of commemorating this important event in history.
