Recent viewers of “America’s Got Talent” couldn’t wait to see just who judge Julianne Hough would pick for the Golden Buzzer.

On the final night of auditions for the 14th season of the show, Luke Islam brought the newest judge to tears. At just 12-years-old, this young Broadway fanatic secured his own spot on the live shows.

Luke talked about his love for Broadway shows on his pre-taped introduction. He started enjoying the shows when he was just 6-years-old. He went on to say that he loved everything about Broadway- the crowd, the audience, the props, the stage, and the costumes. He has wanted to be up there on stage for a very long time.

He shared that he hoped he could make his dreams a reality by going on “America’s Got Talent.” He went on to say that he was also inspired by judge Juliane Hough when she danced with her brother on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Luke then went on to perform “She Used to Be Mine,” a Tony-nominated song from the musical “Waitress.”

He was given a standing ovation from the judges and the audience for his amazing performance. The young teenager was brought to tears as he watched his dreams come true in front of him.

Simon Cowell, one of the judges, told Luke that he should always sing as if he was performing for an audition on Broadway. Julianne Hough also stood up to shower the young teen with praise. She said that he has an essence inside on him that has given him a gift.

Hough went on to say that she believes that Luke will definitely go on to become a star. She then dramatically pressed the very last Golden Buzzer of the season. The young man began to get so emotional and overwhelmed that he dropped down to the ground in shocked tears.

Howie Mandel chipped in with his words of wisdom, saying that this young man’s dreams were going to become true.

Sara Bareilles, the seven-time Grammy nominee who penned the songs for “Waitress,” wasn’t able to hold back her own tears after watching the incredible performance. She later tweeted that she would be “weeping forever and ever.” What an amazing accomplishment for a young teenager with high hopes and dreams.
