As much as Keith loved his gift, the young boy wanted something from his best friend, caretaker and mother. Keith told his mother Taylore that he would like to walk her down the aisle before his death.

Although Taylore had already been dating Keith's stepfather for a while, the family didn't have enough money to spend on a wedding. However, she was determine to make his final wish come true.

Taylore set up a campaign and received over $3,500 of donations within weeks. She started to make plans immediately for the wedding and for Keith's wish. During this time, Keith's health was deteriorating quickly. Taylore knew that plans had to be made quickly in order to make his wish come true. She wrote on Facebook that Keith was holding on in order to walk her down the aisle.

On November 9, the family held an impromptu ceremony in the living room of their house. Despite the minimalistic nature of the wedding, it was the most beautiful ceremony that most people have seen.

Three days following the living room ceremony, Keith passed away from his battle with cancer. His mother let all of Keith's followers know about his passing via Facebook. She commented that Keith had earned his angel wings and was now in heaven to be at peace.

She continued on to describe how much she missed her son. She said that a piece of her will always be missing. Despite not knowing what to do after her son's passing, she promised Keith that she would do her best.
