12-Year-Old Boy Builds Disabled Puppy An Adjustable Lego Wheelchair So She Can Run Around And Play

Gracie was just a tiny, abandoned puppy when she was located by rescue workers.  Despite her serious deformities, Gracie found a wonderful family that was ready to adopt her.

However, Gracie would be unable to walk on her own until she was older. This is when a twelve-year-old boy who volunteered at the rescue shelter decided to use his legos to build gracie a wheelchair so she could get around.

According to CBS News, Gracie had been born without front legs due to a birth defect. The Turley family were prepared to help Gracie through the rough struggles in her life since they not only operated their only shelter but also had a paralyzed dog and a Chihuahua with only three-legs that were a part of their family.

The only concern that the Turleys had was that Gracie was not old enough for a doggy wheelchair until 12-year-old Dylan came up with an idea.

Dylan decided to craft a wheelchair out of Legos. Since Legos can be adjusted, the device could be changed to grow right along with the puppy.

Because of Dylan's creation, Gracie was able to take her first steps! This child’s brilliant invention made it possible for Gracie to exercise and strengthen her muscles as she grew.

Now that Gracie is a full-grown dog, she has been given a permanent wheelchair. Gracie and Dylan are still friends, and you can see pictures of them hanging out together.

Because of Dylan, Gracie was able to overcome her rough start and embrace a new way of life. We are so happy that this brilliant little boy used his talents and love for Legos to help an unfortunate puppy.
