Christmas miracles are real! This story of an anonymous gift that changed a little girl's life will warm your heart. Read it, and you will feel good to know that there are wonderful people in the world.
Evie is an adorable 11-year-old girl who was born without a left hand. Throughout her life, she tried to use prosthetics, but they were terrible. They were big, bulky pieces of plastic that she had to strap onto her shoulder. On top of being such a hassle to wear, they didn't even work very well.
Even so, Evie didn't let her disability get her down. She was a brave little girl. She loved to swim, and she was good at it too. She won medals. She hopes to compete in the Paralympics someday. With her spirit, she will be a champion.

As determined as she was, there were still many things Evie couldn't do. Simple things like brushing her hair while using a blow dryer. She couldn't hang her clothes up on a hanger. She couldn't take the top off of a tube of lip balm.
That all changed when Evie received a special Christmas gift from an anonymous donor. It was the best gift Evie ever received, an amazing bionic arm that changed her life completely.
The arm is like a sleeve that slips over her forearm up to her elbow. It contains individual fingers that move just the way that real fingers move. It lets Evie do all the things she couldn't do before. She can now open a can of soda or a bag of potato chips without having to ask her mom for help. She was able to hold a Christmas tree ornament by the string and put it on the tree for the first time ever.
In addition to working like a real hand, the bionic arm is also pretty. It's a light blue color with designs on it based on the movie "Frozen." It's perfect for an 11-year-old girl! Evie loves to wear her new bionic arm, and she loves the feeling of being able to do things on her own. She and her Mom are both grateful to the generous anonymous donor.
I hope this story brings you some Christmas cheer! What do you think? Let us know - and send this to your friends so they can read this beautiful holiday story for themselves.
