11-Year-Old Autistic Girl Inspires Millions While Killing It On Stage With Pentatonix

Eleven-year-old Kaylee Rodgers was given an opportunity a short time ago to sing the lead in a concert held at her school. The then ten-year-old sang a Christmas version of a song made famous by Leonard Cohen entitled 'Hallelujah.'

The middle-schooler had no way of knowing at the time that her angelic voice and the touching story would cause her to become an internet sensation.

Colin Millar, the principal at Kaylee's school, said that singing is more than just a hobby for Kaylee Rodgers. Singing is a confidence booster for the young girl. Miller explains that Kaylee is an autistic child that also suffers from ADHD. He says that singing for her has opened the lines of communication with the world.

Millar glows with pride when he explains the joy of watching Kaylee fight through the battles of her young life. He says that at seven she rarely spoke any words. He talked about how inspiring it is for himself to see a little girl that would once not read aloud in class perform so well in front of an audience.

The viral video of Kaylee featured the young singer performing before a filled auditorium. Later, Kaylee stunned an audience that numbered in the millions when she was given the opportunity to perform on 'Little Big Shots, a show that is aired on NBC.

Kaylee performed the first verse of the song flawlessly to the delight of the crowd. She was then joined on stage by the group Penatonix. Kaylee, along with the acapella group that has been honored with a Grammy, induced chills in the crowd while finishing the song.

Many that have heard the collaboration say that the perfection of the six voices, when heard together, was a true joy to behold.
