Small animals have become the most popular pets in recent years. From Miniature Pinchers and Yorkies to Chihuahuas and Cavashawns, it seems that everyone interested in getting a new dog will resort to the smaller breeds. Whether you're in the middle of the city or living in the countryside, it's not uncommon to see people walking tiny dogs.

There are many reasons for the popularity of this trend. First and foremost, these smaller dogs are easier to maintain and care for from a physical and financial perspective. The size of these dogs is also very convenient. People can keep smaller dogs in their apartments and homes easier than larger dogs. These miniature dogs are considered to be the cutest breeds as well. However, there are many people who would argue otherwise.

There are some people who believe that the largest dogs have the gentlest and kindest hearts.

Winston is one such dog who towers over the smaller breeds. This Great Pyrenees dog weighs an impressive 106 pounds. Winston's affection knows no limitations. When he isn't sleeping, eating, or relaxing, he is bringing love and joy to the members of the C.C. Young elderly home located in Dallas, Texas.

Winston was the happy pet of a beloved owner who unfortunately passed away shortly after his adoption. He was subsequently returned to his breeder. Clifford Spohr, Winston's new owner knew the perfect place for this kind-hearted dog.

He understood that Winston's affection and love were enough to make dozens and dozens of people happy.

Having only one owner wasn't doing Winston's kindness any justice. After a lot of practice and testing, Winston eventually was certified as a therapy dog.

Winston is now 4-years-old and has been working at the C.C. Young elderly home for many months. Whenever Winston makes a trip to the facility, all of the residents light up. They are happy to see their massive, furry friend. Clifford has been very happy with his decision to share his dog's kind heart with the rest of the world.

It's always beautiful to see humans and dogs developing strong connections. There is something rather magical about the bond that people have with canines.

It seems as though Winston has found a perfect outlet for his overflowing affection.
