#2 Dryer Sheets

Have a fan blowing? Attach a dryer sheet to the front of it and let the fan distribute the smell all over the room! In places with no airflow, such as closets and drawers, simply leave a few dryer sheets inside for a fresh scent.

#3 Boil Cinnamon

You can use cinnamon sticks (or ground cinnamon) to give your house a warm scent. Simply add the cinnamon to a pot of water on the stove and bring to a slow boil. Let the scent enter other rooms by carefully carrying the pan around the house!

#4 White Vinegar

Soak a clean rag in white vinegar and then ring it out. Walk from room to room while swinging the rag all over. What does this accomplish? It will help get odors out from cigarettes or other types of smoke! You might feel silly but it works!

#5 Borax And Ice

Your garbage disposal can hold all kinds of terrible odors. Simply add some ice to the disposal and turn it on. As it grinds up it will pull off any leftover food particles that are making your home smell. Then sprinkle Borax or baking soda down your drain for a clean, fresh smell!

#6 Vanilla Extract

You probably have baking vanilla extract in your cupboard. Simply dab some on a light bulb and turn the light on. The heat will cause the vanilla smell to waft around your home!

#7 Baking Soda And Lemon

Fish is so very good for you but the smell can linger on and on! Mix together three tablespoons of baking soda, lemon peels, and two cups of water. Let it sit out in your kitchen to absorb the smell after you cook fish or seafood products.

#8 Lemon, Baking Soda, and Vinegar

Bathrooms can smell like urine over time (surprise, surprise, right?) Form a paste out of baking soda and lemon juice. Scrub this mixture all over your toilet, in the bowl and even in the tank. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes before adding ½ cup of the vinegar to the toilet. Allow it to sit for 15 more minutes and then sponge up the solution. Your bathroom will smell clean and amazing!

#9 Fresh Toilet Paper

Instead of bulky air fresheners, pour a few drops of your favorite cologne or perfume onto the inside of the toilet paper roll. You’ll enjoy a bathroom that smells great without having to move around an air freshener!

#10 Kool-Aid

Your dishwasher may be the source of your kitchen smell. This is an easy fix! Put a handful of lemon Kool-Aid into your dishwasher and then run it while it is empty. Your machine will smell fresh and lemony when the cycle is over!
