So often people get caught up in the world of money. Let's face it. Having money is really nice. Being able to pay your bills is great. People who have their basic needs covered can relax and take pleasure in knowing they can put food on their table and keep a roof over their heads.

Time

All of us have the same time. No one can buy more seconds, minutes, hours and weeks. Time is not for sale at any price. The very wealthy spend lots of money. Yet, like the rest of us, they too die just like everyone else. Time is one quantity that impacts of all of us and remains for all of us to use. Savor the moment. You will not get it back.

It's only from within that everyone can claim peace. Even in the midst of chaos and disorganization, all of us can find that much welcome peac deep inside of us. Talent

Everyone has something they're good at. Some people can draw well. Others can sing or dance perfectly to any tune. Some people are good with other people. They instantly understand others empathetically. Talents and gifts can be cultivated and learned but they can't be bought. No money in the world will transform a klutz into a ballerina. Knowledge and wisdom are two sides of the same priceless coin. Learn something and it is yours forever. Read a book. Master a body of knowledge. You can keep it. The same is true of wisdom. Wisdom cannot be purchased. It can only be learned after years of essential and hard fought practice.

An understanding of the world around us is something that many of us take pride in having. Even if you don't have a lot of money, you can take pride in knowing that you understand the world around you and how to respond to any situation with grace and clear thought.

Many rich people spend their funds trying to lobby for a specific point of view. And yet no matter how much they spend, certain things will always be true. All the money in the world cannot change fundamental facts. Money might win out in the short-term. Some people think that class and manners is merely about having enough money and then some. The rest of us realize that one can have all the money in the world and still be a crude and unappealing bore. The woman who is polite to the salesperson waiting on her has more class than the man who gives her a large tip but says rude things. True Friendship

Real friendships is about a meeting of the mind and heart. A rich person may hand out money and invite people to lavish parties where people are happy to eat their food and let that person entertain them. Over time, people come to know others and realize that all the money in the world won't give them caring friends. When the person goes broke, it is only their true friends who remain.

Money can help people get access to medicine. People who lack healthcare access in the aftermath of a serious illness are likely to have problems. Yet all the money in the world cannot turn an old man into a young boy. Older women who spend hours in pursuit of false youth often look like people fighting a lost battle.

The rest of us know true beauty comes from within. We know that true beauty lies in being unafraid to show who we are to the world. Our wrinkles are badges of honor in our lives and a reminder of the wonderful, full life we've lived.
