There are many layers to a Scorpio’s personality. Trying to decipher these layers can be difficult. We can be dynamic and misunderstood and for a very good reason. You may love us one day and hate us the next! We can be the best and the worst. Read on for the top ten reasons why it can be tough being with us. 

We will strive to get what we want but we will be honest about it. While we won’t lie to you, we will make a very convincing argument as to why we want our way so badly.
At times, the end goal is more important to us than the steps we need to take in order to get there. This could lead us to be insensitive to the feelings of others at times. 
These manipulative skills are perfect for careers that call for them, such as investigative work. However, they aren’t the best for relationships.

Our sex isn’t boring in the least, and we love to have it. But we can also get bored easily, so if we feel bored with our partner sexually, the frustrations we feel may bleed into other parts of the relationship. We don’t want our sex to be predictable. 

We will chase after what we want with every intention of getting it. We can fight until we don’t have anything else to fight about. But we don’t always consider the consequences of our hasty and determined actions. We can be impulsive and get in over our heads. However, our bravery helps us become successful in our work endeavors and relationships.

We have the capability of holding a grudge against anyone who wrongs us. We always expect loyalty out of everyone else, so we don’t forgive others if they don’t give it right back. Since we don’t ever forget, we make sure you don’t forget, either.

We don’t have a juvenile sense of humor. Your amateur jokes won’t make us laugh. We enjoy insightful and witty jokes with our conversation instead. People enjoy being around us because of our blunt and open sense of humor, but some may find it offensive. You may not get along with us if your idea of humor is slapstick jokes. 

When we love someone, we are fully supportive and committed to that person 100% of the time. We will always protect them and make sure they are not hurting in any way.

You won’t be bored dating us. We love to keep secrets and often only reveal half of the answers so that you will be kept guessing. However, sometimes people get exasperated with us because of this. Many people are frustrated when they date us because they feel like there is always something else to know about us.

We will never have a problem standing up for someone we love or even ourselves, as we know exactly what we deserve in life. We always give the best so we expect the best in return.

Many people find this intimidating because they feel we are too critical of things. But mainly, we are critical of ourselves and try to push our limits time and again. These high standards can lead to self-destructive ways too often.

We will quickly determine whether we like someone. We may get called judgmental, but we prefer to be called observational. We can be very guarded and will not want to spend time with someone we don’t feel is worth it. If we have trusted you and you let us down, it can make us a bit crazy.

One of our best qualities is the ability to be a leader. Others notice we have a “get it done now” attitude and it helps them follow along. We like to control the situation because we feel the most comfortable when we can. We do not like to answer to authority figures. It’s not because we don’t respect them, it is because we want to do things our way. If we aren’t the ones in control, we feel like we are out of control. We may get stressed out and start overthinking the situation.

Control can be a great strength, but it can also be a great weakness.
