Snowboarding is generally a sport that is more for teenagers than little kids since it involves a lot of time spent in the cold elements and the possibility of some serious accidents. But a new video is proving that snowboarding isn’t just for those who are in their teens or older – a tiny one-year-old is showing off her skills and shocking the world.

When one-year-old Maeve went snowboarding with her family, they managed to catch the experience on film and now the world is getting to see this tiny child’s awesome talents. While Maeve is still basically a baby, her snowboarding skills rival those of any teen or even adult.

The little girl gets on her board and takes off across the snow as easy and fearlessly as if she was simply taking a walk across the lawn. Not only is she a pro at snowboarding, but when she has to take a ride back up the slope on the sky-lift, she doesn’t bat an eyelash as she climbs onto the equipment.

Watching this toddler’s angelic face, you can see that she is right at home on the snowbanks. She has a bright smile on her face that just makes you want to grab her up into a big hug! Maeve’s mom tries to help her out when the video starts, but the baby quickly shows her parents that she knows exactly what she’s doing and doesn’t need a lot of assistance. How surprised must they have been to find that their toddler is a natural?

John Perry is Maeve’s dad and he managed to catch the entire experience on video. He explains that the footage was captured when the family hit the slops at Park City, Utah’s Woodward Sports Center. Regardless of her young age, Maeve is clearly a natural on a snowboard. We can’t wait to see where her talents take this tiny little girl. Who knows? Maeve may one day be a part of the Olympic team helping to bring our country a gold medal with her skills.
