An article was recently written concerning a beautiful version of an all-time favorite inspirational song called "You Raise Me Up". Over the years, various musicians and artists performed renditions of this song.

The origination of this piece came from Secret Garden, an Irish-Norwegian duo. They wrote and performed this song. They then performed this piece with a singer in 2002 named Brian Kennedy in which time became a minor hit in the UK.

Josh Groban was the only who made this piece a major hit in the US when he sang it. It then gained much popularity, and a plethora of covers performed it inspiring millions worldwide.

One main reason this piece is a big hit is due to its touching and timeless lyrics. This song is so popular that it's an anthem for a Norwegian football club, some figure skaters used it, and it is played on TV a lot.

It is so touching that anyone can relate to it in regards to people who raised us, nurtured us, and lifted us up during bad times. And thus, we are thankful for those people for the success we gained and enjoy.

This song was recently performed by Peter Hollens, a YouTube celebrity. He started out singing the song by himself. Then hundreds of strong singers joined in to sing the song with him.

They all sounded angelic, and even though Peter's voice is strong and beautiful by itself, the song is even more beautiful and touching when they all lifted up their voices together. They all song in a cappella style for a more powerful and raw feel.
