Woman Rescues 158 Cats From Streets Of Indonesia And Dedicates Her Life To Help Them

Jan 16, 2019

Most animal lovers believe taking care of one or two precious pets is a lot of work, but you won’t believe how many cats have found their way into the life of pediatric psychologist Violetta Hasan Noor in Indonesia!

With almost 160 former stray cats in her care, Noor, has found her calling as an animal rescuer. While most of these felines were found upon the local streets of Indonesia, many of these cats are victims of neglect and sometimes rather severe abuse. Yet the 42 year old Noor finds she just cannot turn them away.

As soon as a cat arrives in her care, regardless of condition, Noor ensures they visit the veterinarian for a medical checkup. She takes in cats of all shapes, sizes and health conditions. From paralyzed kitties requiring a special set of wheels to cats suffering from obvious abuse injuries, Noor believes every cat deserves to be loved. This kindhearted woman goes through over seventy pounds of cat food just feeding the critters currently in her care. We would hate to see her kitty litter bill!

Yet just like any other animal rescuer, Noor does it all out of love. She believes every cat in her care deserves a second chance and obviously the people surrounding her believe it too. Noor gives credit to her husband, her veterinarian, neighbors and community for supporting her passion.
