Woman Catches Thief Who Took Her Wallet Red-Handed And Confronts Her At Walmart

Feb 19, 2019

Thieves usually flee the scene of the crime and head to a far away safe hiding place. Who would have believed Walmart served as an alleged thief's hideaway? And how many people would head to the savings superstore to meet face-to-face with someone and accuse him/her of wrongdoing?

These events didn't play out in a movie or TV show. A writer didn't have to come up with a similar strange occurrence.

This actually happened to Leasha Sanders in real life.

Sanders attended a child's birthday party at the popular Chuck E. Cheese franchise. At some point, her wallet went missing. How the wallet disappeared isn't entirely known.

Then, someone started buying merchandise through Sanders' account. A bank app sent her a notification when a purchase took place.

How long did it take for a charge to appear? Literally, within 15 minutes of Sanders noticing the wallet disappeared, a charge took place at a Kohl's store!

Eventually, Sanders opted to confront the person allegedly making the charges. Her search took her to Walmart for a confrontation.

Incredibly, the sequence of events all started rather innocuously. Sanders lost her wallet somehow at the Chuck E. Cheese. A small child found the wallet and handed it over to a worker at the store.

Someone else claimed to be the rightful owner of the wallet. Upon taking possession of the wallet, the person went on a spending binge.

Sanders went directly to the Kohl's to locate the perpetrator, but she wasn't there. Store representatives at Kohl's noted they were suspicious of the perpetrator. Unfortunately, they weren't suspicious enough to deny the purchase.

Sanders, somewhat dejected, left Kohl's to return to Chuck E. Cheese. Not too long after, Sanders' phone app went off once again.

A charge took place at Walmart. Sanders and friend immediately headed to the retail store. This time, the alleged thief didn't get away. She was actually in line at the Walmart!

Security stopped her from finishing up a purchase.

The police were called to the scene, and security cameras captured the evidence.

Sanders used her phone to film the confrontation and posted it on Facebook!

Good guys do win in the end, and Sanders's tale proves it. Why not tell people about this wild story and all its lessons? Pass it along to your friends and family and don't forget to leave a comment with your opinion on this situation below!
