Jun 15, 2018

Kids can be very mean to one another, bullying each other over things like how poor their family is or what kind of clothes they wear. But some parents are taking steps to stop the bully epidemic.

Mom Cierra Forney, from Braselton, Georgia, overheard something troubling from her 13 year old son. He was making fun of other kids who wore clothing from Walmart or Goodwill. She knew that she couldn't stand for her some being a bully so she decided to teach him a lesson about being grateful for what you have.

The clever mom decided to take her son to the local Goodwill and had him do something interesting there. She recorded their trip and posted the video on Facebook. It has since gone viral and shared thousands of times by those who appreciate her dedicated parenting.

With the video, Cierra wrote accompanying text explaining the situation that said, "My 13 year old son has been acting a little entitled. Acting like he's too good to shop at Walmart or making snarky comments about kids at school who shop at the Goodwill and quite a few other thing. I don't tolerate that."

The viral video has even been featured on television news channels, newspapers, and online blogs. Many parents are applauding Cierra's no tolerance policy towards bullying but a few people think that the mom went too far in teaching her son a lesson.
