When Soldier Mom Is Deployed Her Husband's 'Double Identity' Is Exposed

This couple was sitting in the audience and had no idea they were about to be on Ellen's show! Michelle Cherland had written in to Ellen to tell her something about her husband and the story is quite amazing so Ellen had to surprise them. 

Michelle Cherland is a Captain in the US Army Reserves and 22 days before her most recent deployment she married correctional officer, Rod leaving him in charge of their, now large, family. With Michelle's two sons and daughter and Rod's four girls, he was now in charge of seven children while Michelle was in Afgahnistan. A daunting task for most men but Rod took it all in his stride - you have to watch this video (and the amazing surprise at the end)!
