Colleen has been a hard-working waitress at Red Robin for twelve years. Stationed in Des Peres, Missouri, she's made countless friends and warmed immeasurable hearts. She's a mother of four who considers her waitress job as her ability to "make a difference." In the end, she's done exactly that. 

Some of Colleen's most frequent customers were Fran and Greg, who visited the restaurant every day to see her. After Fran received a cancer diagnosis, Colleen took the time to stop at the couple's home and check up on her. She even visited Fran in the hospital. After Fran's passing, Colleen organized a special restaurant day to honor her. 

Greg is still a loyal customer, coming into the restaurant every day to chat with Colleen. He's just one of the dozens of people who love the waitress. She's kind enough to give her shoes to the next-shift worker when they forgot theirs. She has let other people borrow her own belt. She champions a number of missions and plans special events to benefit organizations and people. 

Colleen is such an exceptional employee that her coworkers decided she deserved a surprise. They got in touch with the "Dude Be Nice" project, which was ready and eager to help. Colleen had no idea what she was in for... 

As Colleen walked to the entrance of Red Robin from the parking lot, two police officers appeared to escort her. They seemed apologetic. The waitress believed she was being questioned about a counterfeit operation until she walked into the restaurant...
