UAE Woman Files For Divorce Because Her Husband Helps With Housework

A UAE woman has reportedly filed for divorce because her husband practices 'extreme love' towards her, showering her with gifts and cleaning the house without her asking him to. 

According to the Khaleej Times, the woman, who has not been named, complained to the court that their conflict-free marriage was, as she described, "hell".

"He never yelled at me or turned me down," the woman said, according to the publication. "I was choked by extreme love and affection. He even helped me clean the house." 

"I long for one day of dispute, but this seems impossible with my romantic husband who always forgave me and showered me with gifts," she added.  "I need a real discussion, even an argument, not this hassle-free life of obedience."

She's now seeking a divorce from this man. She claimed that he was so affectionate she felt choked by it. She wished for at least one argument, but he always forgave her and gave her presents.

The couple has only been married for a year, but she's already requesting a split. Her husband stated that he always wants to be a good husband. The court in Fujairah suggested that they work through this issue on their own.

"I wish to be a perfect and kind husband," he said.
