Twins Crack Each Other Up And Parents Filming Unable To Hold Back Laughter About Baby In Blue

Having two children in the household can create special moments. Having twins makes it extra special. In a video from November 2018, one set of twins had a  "conversation" composed of giggles and babble that is sure to put a smile on your face.

It has long been speculated that twins share some sort of mental connection, maybe even being able to read each other's minds. But, science has never proven such a connection. Nevertheless, twins are just like other siblings — they grow up alongside each other, and naturally, there is a close connection between them. 

The two babies that feature in the adorable video are a set of fraternal 11-month-old twins, distinguished by their blue and pink rompers. While infants that age usually haven't uttered their first words yet, these jovial tots proved that they had no problems understanding one another.

The little girl appeared to have a bigger laugh, as she cackled loudly while sitting beside her brother and looking his way. Soon enough, he got in on the joke and started pounding his fists on the floor while looking at his sister and laughing too. 

The brother and sister team kept up the interchange of smiles and laughter for quite some time, completely without any parental prompting. They didn't even let the camera lens phase them. It must have been a pretty good inside joke that no one else was in on that kept them giggling for so long.

The parents of the adorable pair could be heard off-camera giggling at the commotion themselves — the contagious laughter was clearly palpable that day!

Thankfully the parents captured the hilarious moment on camera and decided to share it with the world. There's no denying we could all use more laughter in our lives!

Since it was posted in November 2018, the video has garnered over 397,000 views. People who'd come across the video couldn't help but comment on the delightful interaction between the brother and sister. Some commented "aww" and "very very silly," while another said, "that's comedy."

A user even joked about what might have been going through the twins' minds at that moment. They wrote:

"Hahaha your face is funny bro"

"Haha jokes on ya we got the same face haha"

"Damn thats true lol"

Yet another person pointed out how the babies reminded them of puppies:

"lol.... incredible to see and hear, how they laugh!! It just came into my mind, that I have seen similar movements from young dogs (going down to earth with the front part of their body)... If babies laugh like this, I always laugh myself..."

While the idea of twin telepathy is a persisting one, researchers suggest it's nothing more than a myth. Professor of Psychology at California State University at Fullerton, Nancy Segal, who authored the book "Entwined Lives: Twins and What They Tell Us About Human Behavior" told NBC: “It’s fascinating. But I don’t think there’s any kind of ESP going on.” She chalked up "twin communication" to shared genetics, which although genes aren't destiny, they do greatly influences people's lives.

“Twins’ lives tend to be in synch, particularly identical twins,” Segal said. “They can have very close connections ... They can spend a lot of time together because they get along so well.”
