Traffic Officer Sees Cat Waiting To Cross The Street And Helps By Stopping Cars For The Furry Pedestrian

Dec 30, 2019

Since traffic guards are greatly needed in Indonesia because the traffic there is horrendous, you’ll see them helping people of all ages get to the other side of the road unharmed. Their job is to protect the pedestrians crossing the street. There was a cop who did just that, even though one pedestrian happened to be a cat.

The fearless kitty approached the crossing guard from the Musi Banyuasin police department according to Rumble, and meowed at him. It was as if the fluffy feline was asking for the crossing guard’s okay to proceed. As it waited for the man to give it the signal to cross, you get the impression the cat knew the procedure and had done this before.

Once the traffic stopped, the cat began to stroll to the other side of the road in true feline fashion.

It didn’t seem to be concerned about the noisy motorcycles and large buses rolling down the streets. The cat made its way to where it was going, feeling confident that all would be well because it trusted the crossing guard.

It was a good thing the kitty didn’t all of a sudden decide to turn back or stop to groom itself in the middle of the street. Grooming is something cats do frequently and at the most unexpected times.

Luckily, the courageous pussycat made it to the other side of the street without getting hurt. The crossing guard was praised for protecting the animal and helping it walk to the other side of the road safely, and a video of the incident was recorded by someone he works with and posted on the internet.

Needless to say, many people enjoyed viewing the video.

Since this crossing guard’s kind actions shouldn’t go unnoticed, and since this is such a cute story, please make others aware of it.
