Today, I Finally Blocked You

Nov 17, 2018

I knew that today I had to erase the memories with you from my life, so I made the decision to block you. My cluttered news feed would be erased, removing all of the dirt that you left behind. All of the memories of what we were are now gone. They have to be blocked.

The time has come to stop seeing the things that you like as well as where you're at during the day. There are no more days of waiting for you to like something I post or comment on something that I've said.

You're probably not even paying attention to what I post, so there's no reason to try any longer to impress you when you don't seem to care. There's no reason to fight for the attention that you don't seem to give any longer. The attention is probably being given to someone else.

There was a reason why I blocked you today. It was time to get the person back who was there before you entered my life. I wanted to find that person again instead of being someone searching for love. When you were in my life, I started to hate who I was instead of loving myself.

That is only one of the reasons why I have to block you today. I can't go on feeling sorry for myself and being unhappy. It's now time to work on loving myself without you in my life. I have to focus on posting things that pertain to me. There's no longer a need to send you a message.

A final thought to understand is that I am not allowing you to reach out to me any longer. You're among the people I don't know. You are blocked from seeing what I do and seeing my life.
