Tiny Flower Girl Spots Daddy And Halts Wedding To Say 'Hi'

When it comes to weddings, it's safe to say that most brides and grooms don't want anything unexpected or unpredictable to happen. Couples typically spend months or even years planning their special day and hope that everything will go exactly as planned. However, sometimes there are a few surprises thrown their way that actually ends up making everyone's day a little bit brighter.

In a video from Aug. 2014, during one wedding, a young ring bearer was given the task of walking down the aisle alongside the two flower girls of the wedding. All of the children were incredibly young yet still very well behaved. However, one of the flower girls got a bit distracted during the ceremony while she was walking down the aisle and ended up creating a tiny scene.

Thankfully, her outburst of energy seemed to be well received by the other wedding guests as they all watched on in wonder and laughed at her adorableness. While she was walking down the aisle, she noticed her dad standing in a pew near her. The tiny flower girl couldn't help but stray from her wedding duties as she completely stopped in her place to face her father.

The heartwarming moment was captured on camera and went on to be uploaded online for people all over the world to see and adore. While we couldn't trace the source of this video, we loved it and had to share it. In the video, the wedding party made its descent down the aisle, with the tiny toddler taking on the role of one of the flower girls. The music and scenery inside the church where the wedding was held were beautiful, and it seemed like everything was going exactly as planned. However, the flower girl decided that it was time to adorably acknowledge her parents.

She called out, "Mommy!" as she continued to walk down the aisle before immediately halting in her tracks in front of where her dad was standing in one of the pews. The tiny tot was clearly excited to see her dad and sweetly said, "Hi, dad!" 

She continued to stand in front of her father with the biggest smile on her precious face, all the while the wedding party was still carrying on behind her. After some encouragement from her dad, the little girl finally went back to fulfilling her duties as a flower girl.

Several wedding guests laughed at the kind-hearted moment, and it was evident that the little girl's happiness resonated with many people at the wedding, as well as online. Several people were sure to leave positive comments expressing just how much they adored the toddler and her actions. 

One person said, "Beautiful princess." Another commented, "That's so sweet of her!" Many other people left comments complimenting the flower girl for being so utterly adorable. Another person said: "Adorable. Children are angels." Even though this little girl may have strayed a bit from carrying out her flower girl duties for a moment, it's clear that she still spread a lot of love and happiness that day. 

Another user pointed out that no matter a woman's age, her father will always be number one in her heart. They wrote:

"I'm telling you this is how every girl loves her dad.... It doesn't matter if you are getting married to the best man in this world dad is best man in her heart ❤️"

Yet another person said, "Can you imagine what the world would be like if every child had that love & bond in their life...????💜" Meanwhile, one person wrote: "Little cutie 💕. She stole the show but in a good way 🤣🥰" Another user told a story from their own life that was somewhat similar. They wrote:

"My 3 year old Granddaughter, threw up the basket of flower petals in the air, and said 'NANA' ran as fast as she could When she saw me."

Multiple users discussed how old the little girl would be nowadays and they guessed she would be around 10-12 years old. Perhaps she's even seen the video of her younger self. Due to the adorable nature of the clip, the video went viral and has since been viewed over 10 million times. 

The role of the flower girl in a wedding has various meanings. On top of enhancing the aisle with flower petals before the bride walks down, flower girls also lead the bride forward symbolically. They represent the bride's journey from childhood to adulthood, as well as their innocence leading to the new roles of wife and mother. She can also symbolize a wish for fertility and for the desire to start a family.
