This Woman Threw A Quinceñera For Her Dog And Everyone Else Should Do It Now Too

Aug 08, 2018

Dog lovers are a special group of people. Those who have adopted their own furry friends know they have a way of endearing themselves to our hearts with their loyalty and affection. Sometimes other people just don't seem to understand the deep connection we have with these precious pets. They think we take our pet parenting roles a bit too seriously, or that we go overboard bragging about our four-legged friends.

To all who don't share our enthusiasm for dogs, we dog-lovers feel sorry for you. Life just isn't as much fun without a fur baby to love and spoil!

Speaking of spoiling, one woman took spoiling her Chihuahua named Lupita to a whole new level. She's an inspiration to indulgent pet parents everywhere. Miranda Sanchez decided to throw her darling dog a Quinceañera party. Of course she just had to invite Lupita's glittering circle of canine companions. They got formally mailed invitations to the party which was set for July 28, 2018.

Sanchez wanted her pooch to have a party fit for a queen. She went to great lengths to make sure and plan every last detail. The results of her efforts were quite impressive.

First and foremost, Lupita had to have the perfect wardrobe.

This stunning sweetheart and her adoring owner matched in pretty pink party dresses. Lupita sparkled with a tiara perched on her furry head. She and her pooch pals munched happily on a cake made with dog-friendly ingredients. Then they had a photo shoot with Lupita as the star. Meanwhile, the human guests indulged on a tasty barbecue meal.

Lupita came into her owner's life just two years ago, so Miranda felt like it was an ideal time to commemorate their meeting. Miranda explained the timing of the party. She said, "I've had her for two years and some months, which is almost 15 years in doggy years so I thought it would be funny to throw her a quince and embrace her Mexican heritage."

Though she wanted the celebration to be over-the-top, Miranda did forgo a few expensive ideas, such as hiring a live mariachi band. The $150 cost was a bit out of her price range.

Sanchez loves gathering with family and friends, so she figured Lupita's party was an ideal time to get her favorite people and their pets together. There were a total of seven immaculately dressed dogs at the party. Megan Sanchez, Miranda's cousin, attended the party. She snapped some pictures and posted them on social media.

The story of Lupita's lavish gala quickly went viral.

Though Lupita seemed to have fun at the party, she wasn't thrilled with her quince tiara! Overall the quinceanera, which took place on Miranda's grandmother's lawn, was a huge success. Though some people wouldn't go to so much trouble for a dog's party Miranda was happy to go all out for her sweet fur baby.
