We all know synchronized swimming, but have you heard of synchronized walking? Synchronized walking is a rising sport in Japan and something we should all see at least once in our lives!

These young men spent months preparing for the opportunity to showcase their rare talent, and I must say - it is unbelievable!

"Shuudan Koudou," which translated in English loosely means "Collective Action" the name of this art form. See below in this exciting video. These fellows have walked miles and trained for months practicing for this moment.

Hard work and determination is what we would call this! This new found gift to the United States has been around for decades. Shuudan Koudou was created at Japan's Nippon Sports Science University (NSSU) almost 50 years ago. Since this time the routines have only become more difficult and now, drum roll please, women are participating too! What a time to be alive.

Although a bit foreign in the United States, Shuudan Koudou is similar to cheer-leading competitions. The participants need to be able to work in a team environment, be extremely focused, and maintain their body position. Winning a competition like this ground breaking for these young talents. They lead future careers as instructors, advocates and trainers!

Here is a closer look at their routine so you can be the judge!

Tell me you think this is as cool as I do! Your family and friends have to see this! This is something that needs to be spread worldwide.
