This Footage Of A Loving Father Entertaining Son With Special Needs, Will Warm Your Heart

Rich Houck is a former respiratory therapist who lives in New Jersey. He has family that tries their best to make their brother Jacob laugh and smile. They do this because they know that every day they have with their brother is a gift.

Rich can still recall the day he found out the bad news about Jacob. His wife was the one to break the news to him that Jacob had a brain tumor. It was only a couple of weeks before the little boy turned four that he was diagnosed with this rare issue.

The doctors who treated the little boy made sure to warn Rich and his wife about the possibility that Jacob wouldn’t live much longer. The prognosis did not look good, and they did not want to get their hopes up over the little boy.

However, Jacob is now 21-years-old and going strong. He has passed every obstacle that has been put in his way. Even though the odds were stacked against him from a young age, Jacob has always persevered. Because of this, his family makes sure they appreciate every hour they have with him. His life is truly a miracle in the making.

Rich took his family to the mall one day to go shopping. While they were there, he decided that he would be the one to make Jacob smile and laugh.

As Jacob and his mom walked slowly behind them, Rich darted into a clothing store and approached the assistant manager, Nicole. He told her that his son was special needs and that he wished to make him laugh. He wanted to do so by posing in their window.

The kind manager agreed to let him get up in the window display to surprise his son as he walked by. You can tell from the video that this adorable attempt was completely successful. Jacob was thrilled to see his dad in the display window, hamming it up for the video.

Nicole was eager to post the heartwarming video to her Facebook page. She said that her night was made after witnessing this wonderful act from a doting and loving father.
