Teen Misses Jonas Brothers Concert For Cancer Treatment So The Band Visits Her In Hospital Room

The Jonas Brothers are a popular band of young men who are loved by millions around the world. Teenage girls especially adore the band whose members are the three brothers Nick, Joe, and Kevin.

Lily Jordan has been a fan of the group for many years, according to PennLive.com. She was thrilled to get tickets to see them in concert in Hershey, PA. However, Lily isn’t like most teenagers. She is currently receiving cancer treatment for osteosarcoma.

This type of cancer will produce immature bone. Lily has already lost her left leg because of the disease. She has also suffered a permanent dislocation in her right hip after undergoing hip replacement surgery.

Lily was completely heartbroken when she realized that she would have to wait for another day to see her favorite band in concert. She canceled her plans and headed to Penn State Children’s Hospital to have an emergency chemotherapy session instead.  Lily had been waiting for so long to see the band that she loved the most, and now she would have to wait even longer. Or so she thought…

Lily decided to take to Instagram to voice her frustrations. She wrote that instead of being at the concert she would be at the hospital getting chemotherapy. She then jokingly offered the group an invitation to her room, never believing that it would actually lead to anything.

Lily had no idea that her quickly-written social media post would begin to go viral. After what happened, Lily stated that her crappy chemo session turned into an event that she will never forget.

We are thrilled that the Jonas Brothers took the time to visit one of their biggest fans in the hospital. There probably aren’t too many famous people who would have done the same.
