Sad Dog Is Found All Alone At Train Station Tied To A Suitcase Full Of His Favorite Toys

In Scotland, an abandoned male dog was found at the Ayr station tied up to a large suitcase back in 2015. The suitcase only contained supplies for the dog and left many local commuters scrambling to find its owner.

The saddened dog that was left behind with just a bowl, pillow, a bag of food and toy, was a youthful and gorgeous Sharpei mix. It was soon found out that it had suffered from eye complications and was in desperate need of surgery. The abandoned dog was later named Kai after pictures of him at the station went viral.

According to the Scottish Animal Health and Protection Act of 2006, it is a federal offense to abandoned an animal. Anyone who is found guilty will be fined and subsequently banned from owning animals.

Scotland's SPCA had stepped in and scanned Kai's microchip, but this only led them to find out that his previous owner had sold him to someone else several years ago. As Kai's heartless abandoner was left a mystery, many people were now swarming in to adopt the handsome pup.

A few months after Kai's story went viral, a British newspaper had found the woman who had allegedly left Kai at the train station. The woman had said that she went to buy the dog at the station, but it looked nothing like the online advertisement so she refused to buy it. The man who was selling the dog immediately took off in his car and left the woman with the dog.

She states that she "did nothing wrong" by leaving the dog behind. She had to catch the last train to rush home to her daughter who suffers from severe asthma. Still, many people wondered why she failed to report the wrongdoings of the seller who had left the dog behind in the first place.

Although Kai's abandoner was never found, his story did have a happy ending. The pup ended up finding a "forever home" after he was adopted by a good-natured man who stood out from hundreds of hopeful applicants. Watch the video to see the very delighted man who was chosen as Kai's new owner.
